Description:

Language – door opener for successful integration! WE as the key for YOU!

The general integration course prepares you optimally for your life in Germany. In addition to teaching you important language skills, the course covers topics relevant to everyday life such as work, housing, health, offices and authorities. You will also learn more about the German political system. In addition, upon successful participation, you will receive an official certificate proving your language level.

Contents:

• total 700 UE
• 600 UE German as a second language
• intensive German language acquisition, starting at language level A1 and aiming at B1 (GER)
• grammar
• spelling
• free speaking
• reading comprehension
• writing letters and cover letters
• communication on the phone and expression
• language competence training on the basis of contents related to everyday life
• 100 UE „Life in Germany“ (politics)
• Course duration max. 7 months

Certificates:

After successful completion: officially recognized certificates „Deutsch-Test für Zuwanderer“ (DTZ) and „Leben in Deutschland“ (LiD).
In case of unsuccessful participation, a certificate of the actual result achieved in the final tests.

Target group:

• Foreigners who have already been living in Germany for a longer period of time
• Foreigners with a residence permit and good prospects of staying or who receive ALG II
• Late repatriates and their family members
• Union citizens entitled to freedom of movement
• German nationals with special integration needs
• Asylum seekers close to the labor market (permitted/tolerated) with entry before 01.08.2019.

Funding:

The general integration courses are funded by Bundesamt für Migration und Flüchtlinge if certain requirements are met. We will be happy to assist you in checking your eligibility for funding.
